When I work with other artists in a directorial or dramaturgical capacity, I dedicate my work to helping the writer to find the most impactful way to tell their story. I act as a sounding board for my collaborators to help them gauge whether or not each specific moment lands in the way that it was intended. I am passionate about finding small adjustments that hold the largest impact. Throughout the process of directing and new work development, I take care to alternate between examining specific moments and moving back to see the larger picture.
