Katie provides dramaturgical consultations for writers (Most recently - a tap dance musical, a new song cycle, an American history play) as well as dramaturgical writing to supplement pitch deck materials for commercial producers. She has compiled research for a variety of theatrical projects. Katie has previously evaluated submissions for The Playwrights Realm, Normal Ave, and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

When Katie lived in Denver, she acted for several years as the Resident Dramaturg and Literary Manager for Pipedream Productions (White Rabbit Red Rabbit - Denver True West Award, Piping Hot New Works, and 4.48 Psychosis). She also assisted Ina Marlowe and Stephanie Prugh with dramaturgy for the Roe Green production of A Doll's House at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

As a director and dramaturg, Katie seeks out projects that center women and femme people. She specializes in developing new work, musical theatre, adaptations, and providing textual analysis. Katie also has a dance background and loves incorporating dance and physicality into her work. She is passionate about helping writers of all mediums tell their stories as impactfully as possible.
