Lauren Davenport

Lauren Davenport (she/they) is a queer playwright and dramaturg living and working in the Philadelphia region. Her work has been produced and read in Philadelphia, Chicago, San Diego, West Chester, and Buffalo. They are a member of the Dramatists Guild, LMDA, and currently works with Philadelphia Theatre Company. She was a 2009-10 recipient for a Rose O’Neill Literary House Fellowship, a finalist for the 2023-24 Virtual National Fellows Program with the Dramatists Guild Foundation, a semi-finalist for both the 2024 Eugene O'Neill National Playwrights Conference and the 2021 Bay Area Playwrights Festival, and a finalist in 2014 for the Sue Winge Playwriting Award.
