I came to playwriting non-traditionally, through a confluence of theatre studies classes and a passion for sociology. I care deeply about genuine analysis of the ways in which people speak with each other, and the panoply offered therein.

I want to use my perspective, background, and voice to dismantle hegemonies, build robust and diverse theatrical communities, and grow theatre-going audiences to include those traditionally excluded from theatre-going by reason of education, class, and background.
