JIM BINZ is a Vietnam veteran (U. S. Army). His
work has been produced by the Veteran’s Repertory Theater, the LaRoche College
Drama Club, the Carnegie-Mellon University School of Drama and the Shaler/North Hills
Library Act Out group. He is a member of the Playwright’s Center and the Dramatist
Guild. He earned his B. A. in English from LaRoche College in 1977 and his M.F.A. in
Playwriting from Carnegie-Mellon University School of Drama in 1979. He followed a
varied career path for over forty years including auto mechanic, electric motor repair,
sales, non-profit executive and Field Director for Special Olympics Pennsylvania. In
January 2023, Jim began writing plays again full time and can be found at a Panera
table near an outlet most days. Jim is married to Cynthia and has 2 grown...
