I write recognizable, morally complex characters at war with each other and themselves, reaching for connection and redemption. In every story, I try to find levity in challenging themes and brings larger political issues into intimate domestic spaces, whether it's climate activism, immigration, systemic classism and racism, identity politics, queer discrimination in housing policies, or the human cost of development.
