Becky MacDormad is a playwright, screenwriter, and director working in and around Vancouver, BC. She graduated with her M.F.A in Writing for Stage and Screen from New Hampshire Institute of Art where she wrote three plays and one screenplay. Her play, "Dark Am I, Yet Lovely" won the 2017 Novitiate Award through Alberta's Playwriting Competition and she recently won first place with the Golden Script Competition for her screenplay, "Early Retirement". When she's not writing or directing she is teaching at Trinity Western University in Langley, BC or spending time with her amazing children.
