Philip Middleton Williams delights us once again with his imaginative, down-homey, twisty play, “Home-Style Cooking at the Gateway Cafe.” Love these characters and would love to have dinner with them tonight!

Hahahaha! “Right For The Part” is hilarious from the first word to the last. John Busser’s chringy undertones of reality support the comedy as we root for the actor.

I was fortunate to see the production of this play at Passage Theatre Company. Erlina Ortiz’s characters are authentic and their struggles to cope with themselves and their family relations while navigate the world are powerful. Produce this play!

A fast-paced, well-crafted absurdist dramedy about relationships and the desperation we feel for closeness and what we will tolerate for the sake of connection. Edith Freni draws us into a threatened and fragile world where we know these characters -- fear for them, laugh at them -- because the mirror ourselves. Would love to see this breathless play produced.

Val Dunn's O, Possum! is a powerful play about climate change and activism. Set in the failing Jumping Cholla Community Park, this community tries desperately to save their piece of the world. Not only their physical world, but their community as well. And talking a talking opposum, rattlesnake, cactus, and tumbleweed. Hope to see this play in production.

A tight one minute play that is both specific to our current time and universal. Robert Weibezahl captures the fear and frenzy that grips so quickly and makes people act in ways they could never have imagined.

Kendra Augustin's drama, Stranger, is a compelling play about relationships, trust, and race. Imagine the one you love living a lie for ten years? Augustin tells the story with honesty, truth and humor.

A moving story that plays out in a unique and dramatic way. In just five pages. Well done.

Diana Burbano has created a rich and human play, sensitively exploring human conditions in a unique and powerful story. The drama and humor are well balanced in this engaging work. Would love to see a live production.

Redefining relationships take on a whole new perspective in 2020. We feel for these people who have not given up on love in these “difficult and unprecedented times”. Made me sad and hopeful at the same time.
