A great play that explores mental health and how it can be passed down through generations. Lucy is a wonderfully written role.

  • Shaun Leisher: Should You Find Yourself Prepared

I really adored this play. A romantic play about grief and moving on.

  • Shaun Leisher: Koi-Coy

Loved this play about female friendship and the lure of the desert. Loved how complex these women are and how messy their relationships with each other are. The Cowboy was a really compelling figure in the play. Would love to see this produced soon.

  • Shaun Leisher: Gun Play

A very sweet and tense short play. Great use of props.

  • Shaun Leisher: I Know the End

The scenario Rosenberg has created is absolutely brilliant. I love these messy characters that are just trying to figure out life by being around death. Part look at how our society deals with mortality and part coming of age take. This is one that is going to stick with me for a long while.

  • Shaun Leisher: Vigil-Auntys

Such a unique play that features people we don't see a lot of on the American stage. I'm fascinated by the use of panels and I'm really interested in how a director and designers will manifest it. The Auntys are hilarious and have others best interests at heart, even if they go about "helping" the wrong way. The ending is so moving.

  • Shaun Leisher: I never asked for a gofundme

Loved this play about the harm religion can do and the ways people need community. Loved the magical moments in this play. Loved how absurd it got. A play about the Deep South that gives us characters that are much more than caricatures.

  • Shaun Leisher: Wise Guys: The First Christmas Story

A hilarious new take on the Christmas story. A play about faith, differing beliefs and what makes something true. A wonderful buddy comedy that takes us on a journey of (literally) biblical proportions.

  • Shaun Leisher: Between Us Chickens

This play really went to some unexpected places. I loved how secrets are carefully and skillfully revealed in this play. It's a play about who has power and who is considered "good."

  • Shaun Leisher: Faith

A wonderful memory play about suspecting the absolute worst about someone you love. A play that asks if it's better or not to know what the person you love is capable of. This play gives no easy answers and leaves you wondering how our protagonist lives on. I loved the creative use of space in this play and how it's left up to the actors to portray changes in location.
