  • Shaun Leisher: Age Play

A great two-hander about deep and complex human beings. I appreciate how this play doesn't take a hard stand on the ethics of age play. Definitely a play that will spark some fascinating dialogue. Hope to see this produced someday.

  • Shaun Leisher: The Pool

This play imagines a world where no one can die and everyone stays young. This piece of absurdist theatre looks at the pros and cons of that world. Loved getting to know these characters as they all make the choice of whether or not they will let themselves die. A great ensemble piece.

  • Shaun Leisher: LOBSTER

A delightfully, bizarre play about the artistic process, growing up and our human need to be remembered.

  • Shaun Leisher: scars & stains

A fascinating feminist take on Mary Shelley's classic novel. Filled with gorgeous monologues and moments for gory stage effects.

  • Shaun Leisher: Insertion

Maisie is such a wonderfully written character. It's so refreshing to see a female character going after what she wants. She is equal parts funny and heart-breaking. I really found myself rooting for her throughout the whole play. This character will be a gift for young actresses. Loved the magical realism, too!!!

  • Shaun Leisher: Nerve

A really great play about a complicated family. These kinds of stories with these kinds of people are not seen very often on stage. It feels universal within the specificity of this family's culture and long-held traditions.

  • Shaun Leisher: To Listen Past The Quiet

A really great ghost story. A feminist take on the classic haunted house trope. Would love to see this produced and see what lighting and sound designers can do with this play.

A play about the complexities of art-making. Loved the juxtaposition between learning about art and creating art. Loved the universe created here in terms of the varying careers The Beatles and The Beach Boys. Would love to see this produced and hear the music in the world of this play.
