  • Vicki Meagher: Liquid Courage: A Monologue

Good monologue, just the right length. Tells a story, makes us care about the character. Does an excellent job of showing the confusion in a young college person who's earnestly trying to figure it all out. The confusion is juxtaposed nicely with the desire to be clear and accurate in the telling.

  • Vicki Meagher: Her Honor

This play is interesting: you don't know quite where it's going until it gets there, and then the ending seems inevitable. Good contrast between the mayor and her aide. Good sound effects as the mayor (and the audience) wonder just what's going on upstairs.

  • Vicki Meagher: Trick or Treat

This is an entertaining drama about a family with secrets. Tightly written, with well drawn characters and plot surprises. I saw it in New York, though I can imagine it being done at all kinds of midsize and community theaters. The audience was thoroughly engaged. Excellent play!
