This play haunts my brain and soul. A breathtaking work examining the human psyche. Imaginative and explosive.

I was a reader for the first round of a fellowship a while back and I read this play during the blind submission process. It was the most fun I've had reading a script. Crazy fantasy and rollercoaster of a play! Delightful and whimsical... and nasty when it wants to be. So good.

As an Anglicized Puerto Rican and Dominican, I am constantly questioning my connection to my Latin heritage. What makes me a Latino? This play resonates with me deeply with its themes of identity and acceptance.

This play is deeply moving and disturbing. Such a fantastic ride and an amazing piece for an actor seeking to perform a solo show. It is rich with possibility.

BATON is a gripping play that poses important questions in regards to race, feminism, and police brutality. I highly recommend this play.
