Great set-up and dialogue. This line killed me: "Mother fucker thinks he’s the ONLY mime on Sarah
Lawrence campus. Now who’s mad I got the lead in the graduate clown show?"

Easy to produce and oodles of fun!

Isaac has written a heartbreaking play that includes such wonderfully specific moments from his characters' lives, yet leaves enough emotional space that anyone who has ever dealt with the end of a relationship can see elements of themselves. The play contains tremendous visual appeal and such beautiful dialogue. With few setting requirements, One. Two. Three. could easily be staged in a black box theatre.

When I say this play is ridiculous, I mean it as a high compliment. Hilarious lines in a totally offbeat comedy! Dooftastic!!
  • That Must Be the Entrance to Heaven or, The Dawn Behind the Black Hole
    16 Feb. 2023
This play weaves together heartbreaking hopes with brutal physicality in a beautiful and highly theatrical way. It delivers some mind-expanding concepts about ethereal subjects while juxtaposing them with visceral realities. There are some devastatingly rich monologues that will resonate with anyone who has ever dared to hope for something better than the hand they were dealt. Just gorgeous in its complexity and layers.

Great fun! The roles provide maximum fun for the audience and the actors. Lots of activity, intrigue, and great wit, all perfectly in keeping with the Holmes brand. The visuals are strong on the page, creating a wonderful sense of place, time, and adventure.

Super clever and imaginative play that provides not only some great laughter but also some thought-provoking moments.
  • 20 Verses

This play demonstrates a tremendous amount of sharp, focused wit. Lynch's work is dark, at times hilarious, and most importantly, perfectly pointed at the hypocrisy of religion and some of its practitioners. Now I can't wait to read the full-length version!
