Two of my favorite things unexpectedly combined: Greek myth and science fiction! Absolutely delightful: absorbing, imaginative, and theatrical.

This play just broke my heart open, in the best way. Brilliantly skillful story-telling, absolutely authentic sense of place and people and language, a very particular story about working class Boston area characters resonating out to a bigger context, reminding me of Arthur Miller and Lynn Nottage. Masterful and moving. Someone please produce this!

Wendy and the Neckbeards is sharp as a knife, timely, funny, compassionate, furious and heartbroken. It needs to be produced NOW.

I love this play. It's bleak and hopeful, and strange and familiar, and darkly funny and violent and sexy. The characters are vivid and idiosyncratic and perversely lovable, and I root for them against all reason or odds. I love the seediness of the settings, the desperation of all involved, the witty terseness and unnerving poetry of the dialogue. It's wonderful.
