I am an immigrant (born and raised in Wales) with a name that confuses me as female. That probably explains why I love to explore and write, in serious and comic dramatic forms, stories of those who, through choice or happenstance, find themselves strangers in a strange land:
--a judge who finds the world he functions in differs from the real world;
--a newspaper man attempting to explain a seemingly-inexplicable racial murder in his town enters a surreal world;
--a young man torn between allegiances to his native-American and Spanish heritages;
--the wife of a famous playwright who spends her final decades in an asylum for the insane and desperately attempts to explain her life to an unhearing world;
--a rich, handsome Swede who chooses to thrust himself into WW2 Budapest, determined to save Jews; and, most recently,
--a New York Socialite determined to "rescue" her daughter who has fallen for a young cowboy, participates in the alien, to her, world of rodeo; and, many more.
