Busser shows us that being a zombie may be the secret to surviving this job? Its a cool play with clever blends fast food humor with the impending Zombie Apocalypse, bringing on the laughs. "The Graveyard Shift Bites"
was without a doubt was a fun read. Would be great live.

  • Tom Erb: The Third Act

I can only say that this read so smoothly. Emma Wood masterfully captures the complexities of motherhood, aging, and societal expectations. The characters, Sue and Denise, are brilliantly realized, offering a raw and honest reflection of the challenges faced by women. Wood's dialogue is sharp, witty, and laden with cultural references, making "The Third Act" a piece that resonates with anyone who has experienced the bittersweet nature of change. A must-read and I would love to see it on stage. Great Work, Emma.

  • Tom Erb: Sacrifice

Jacquelyn Priskorn's "Sacrifice" has dark comedic dialogue that shines, crafting sharp characters. The clever exchanges between the Sacrifice and the Acolytes create a humorous, scornful tone that keenly contrasts with the gruesome finale. Add that to a super enjoyable read with balanced wit and horror, revealed through a shocking, fun twist. If you like a play where you think you know what's going to happen and suddenly you have the rug pulled out from under you, well, this is IT!

  • Tom Erb: All Out for Christmas

Even though it's the beginning of summer, reading David Taylor Little's "All Out for Christmas, I could feel the cold and smell the snow." This is a moving tale with sharp, witty dialogue and well-developed characters. Little's writing shines in the authentic relationships between characters, particularly in the reunion of Dorothy and Jack, all wrapped up in a nostalgic tone that is perfectly balanced with moments of humor and sorrow. An endearing script that captures the true spirit of the holidays. LOVE IT!!!!

  • Tom Erb: Stay

For a heartfelt drama that explores family bonds and the process of letting go, I recommend the play "STAY" by Maripat Allen. It's an emotional ten-minute piece that beautifully captures the bittersweet emotions of change and loss.
