  • Rooster Poker
    Lance’s older brother Joey wakes him up from a deep sleep one night wanting to play the childhood game that they grew up playing called “Rooster Poker.” Joey also wants to stay after they finish playing the game, however they both know the game could last overnight, or eternity. Lance begrudgingly allows Joey in and the game does not end for days until their Mom and Dad show up to stop the madness. But...

    Eva Kochever headed a lesbian sex club called “Eve Addam’s Tearoom” in Greenwich Village in the 1920s. The New York City Police Department raided her club and she was arrested on an obscenity charge and deported back to her native Poland.

    Jenkie Moser has come to Kauai in the early 1980s after her husband’s death to start anew and to find a purpose. Before the play begins she has met young Aaron Wood. Aaron is dealing with the probability of death at a young age and finding someone who will help him as he nears the end is of utmost importance. Set in the McBryde Sugar Planation Cemetery in Hanapepe, Hawaii, Jenkie and Aaron meet one sunny day to clean up the cemetery with the help of a recruit named Brody, who Aaron met stealing money from the Hindu temple on the island. As the play progresses, we meet Memory Taloo, who stumbles upon the cemetery by accident and soon remembers who Jenkie is and the purpose that Jenkie has staked for herself in the terrifying new world of the late 1980s. A cautionary tale of just how important love is, Crashing Through Kauai brings to life a small moment in 1987 that although so specific in place and time, is universal of just how fragile the world is that we live in.
  • A Murder of Crows
    A Murder of Crows provides a glimpse into the lives of a couple as they discover that sometimes the little things do matter especially when one of them is struggling to remember them. Set in the kitchen of Caroline and Aaron as they prepare a pot of soup on a winter day, the play mixes a little of the macabre and a dash of humor to show what the bond of love can provide at those times in life when it is unfairly tasked.

    Connie, Doug, Heather and Philip all show up for a meeting at a conference room they’ve never seen and with a person of whom they’ve never heard. When this mysterious person shows up, she informs them that due to budget cuts they will be playing musical chairs for their mid-year review to see which of them gets to keep her or his job.
  • Fittest
    Fittest concerns a group of friends who have taken the friendly rivalry of seeing who can get the most steps with their FitBits to a whole new level. When Sawyer texts the others to say she/he has achieved IT, the result is not quite what they expected as they now must face Sawyer who has imploded into a thousand data points and is uploading into them to share the karma of having reached FitBit Nirvana.
  • Protect the Plate
    Barrett asks Jeremy to meet him in the middle of a baseball field one early June morning in Bend, Oregon before the start of their sons' baseball tournament. Seems Barrett cannot really get over the "fling" he and Jeremy had the previous year and wants some sort of retribution for the pain he still feels over the entire affair.
  • Bless
    Inspired by the Blessings in Arizona, 92 year old Martha Bless shoots her son when she thinks she overhears he and his girlfriend Hope plotting to send her to an assisted living home. A drama played out in three monologues.

    Patrick and Ross sign up for the same double-blind study for a test drug that is supposed to heighten one's amorous capabilities. This in the little city of Greenville, South Carolina. However, their study is cut short by the winter storm Jonas and they have to take refuge at a Best Western. As the storm rages around them they realize that the storm that was supposed to blow through in a day might be something more apocalyptic than they had ever imagined. A comedy about love and second chances and a rift on the current state of our dependencies on pharmaceuticals, Double-blind plays out over the few days that Jonas and Patrick and Ross all share in the supposed sunny south.
  • Murder at the Dionysus
    Murder at the Dionysus is a dark mystery inspired by the Blood Tragedies of the Renaissance in the theatrical style of Thomas Kyd or Christopher Marlowe and influenced greatly by German Expressionist art. This play explores the dark side of love, power, innocence and sophistication. The setting is Paris in 1914, but the characters could be off the streets of any big city at any time in history.

    Seems like the saintly and newly achieved centenarian, Glory Dove, of the local Greenville, South Carolina televangelism show Save-A-Lots Power Hour has just one tiny secret that is about to be exposed on the national television show Find Your Root. Senator Brewster from New York is coming to South Carolina to meet his birth mother who, as it turns out, was a Ziegfeld Follie before the days of spreading the gospel with her other children. The Senator is traveling with Find Your Root host and creator Ben Spears and the senator’s personal assistant Carol Burgess. Siblings Brother Saul and Sister Ruth Dove will do anything to prevent this past transgression of their mother from being exposed in this farcical concoction of religion, politics and family.
  • Sun Devil
    In a close-by future state, one Husky Fan is all set for the kick-off at the Husky-Sun Devils football game, but then a Sun Devil Fan wades into unceremoniously into the dog pound. With his girl puppet in hand.

    Inspired by actual events at a recent Husky-Sun Devil game where a father and daughter Sun Devil fans were sparring with the Husky Fans around them although not with the language used in the play.

These two have learned to exist in this future where the world is less populated but still a dangerous place. Dahl wakes up every night to sleep walk and ride the bus with his wife who is no longer alive, but...
    Freddie Acevedo wakes up every morning in terror about the future, but somehow this loop has become reality for the man in his late sixties who is tethered to another man Dahl Moser every time he wakes. These two have learned to exist in this future where the world is less populated but still a dangerous place. Dahl wakes up every night to sleep walk and ride the bus with his wife who is no longer alive, but sadly Dahl’s memories are clouded, and Leah never existed and he’s forgotten in is disillusions that Freddie and he were the couple in question when these nightly reminiscences begin. When the young man Bear Merrick stumbles across them one day their world is forever changed as Bear tries to push his way into their circle. Riders, Alert is as much a tale of survival as much as a love story between two men who have learned that even when all around you is taken away, there’s that undying cord of friendship and trust that can make you whole again.

    I see this as nightmare that Freddie is having because his husband Dahl has Alzheimer's.

  • Alexa, Play My Favorite LP
    Ben comes home from a hard day of tug-boating and just wants to relax with Alexa, but she now speaks Chinese which is throwing off his afternoon chi just a tad.
  • When Windmills Attack!
    When Windmills attack the near the San Gorgonio Mountain Pass in the San Bernadino Mountains, Maddie is determined to put things right with her Godzilla Fan Club friends once she takes care of a little personal business on the home front with her Mom and Dad.
