  • Lee R. Lawing: Jim & Jesus: Besties for Life

This is funny as hell! I love this type of absurd theater and Jennings brings some explosive action to the stage. What is the saying? There but for the grace of God go I. What is good? What is evil? Who is good? Who is evil? It flips depending on the setting and scene and your own beliefs.

  • Lee R. Lawing: Allen's Big Adventure

Williams monologue shows the true strength of love which can take hold of us without warning. Most times, that seems to be the love that is more powerful as if by not looking for it, it knocks us down all the more forcefully. Philip mourns for his soulmate, and that emotion is so so real and insightful for anyone who's ever had someone like Allen in their life,

  • Lee R. Lawing: Six Feet Away

We've all had to learn new behavior with Covid-19, and some of it it's heart-breaking, but when it's behavior that rips away that foundation of love in your own house, it's just down-right madness. Looking forward to seeing this play. I enjoyed the lines about the world is always changing but maybe this time it will change for the better, with people showing more kindness and empathy. Hope is the one thing that we can all still do no matter how far we stand apart.

  • Lee R. Lawing: V-DAY (from the TAPAS COLLECTION)

What a touching and sweet and funny love story. Lermond gives us a couple worn down by their seven years of marriage, but Gertie and Roy show each other that true love is something that even though it can become unpolished, just needs a good shine to come through for years and years.

  • Lee R. Lawing: 38 Cookies, 39 Reasons [a monologue]

Always expect the unexpected from Martin and this monologue delivers so much humor and self reflection. Terry speaks for all of us who feel that we owe an explanation for just living and just trying to make our way in this crazy mixed up world. I would love to grab a bag of nutter butters and enjoy the bag with Terry and reflect how good it is just to be alive and indulge every once in awhile.

  • Lee R. Lawing: Pangea (Part Two of The Second World Trilogy)

A masterful entry into the Second World Triology and one that had me from the very first page. Love stories come in all forms, and this play is one of the best I've read in such a long time. There's nothing better than a backdrop of saving the earth to drop two heroes into, and Lincoln and Andy leap off the page with such realism and humor. I know the third part of this series will be one to remember as the first two have surely been.

  • Lee R. Lawing: First Impressions

Scary and funny and so telling. King's one minute play takes some heavy ideas onto its shoulders and supports that weight with aplomb!

Even during a pandemic the world needs love. Perfect one-minute play by Sickles who has you laughing from the start and clinging to hope till the very last second.

  • Lee R. Lawing: Bigelow Gulch

Another winner by Weaver. Love is a complicated business, and friendships sometimes even more so when you're into the same person as the other. All of the hints of Weaver's talent are here in this ten minute gem and the ending is as perfect as it can be! Order up!

  • Lee R. Lawing: REBECCA: A MONOLOGUE

Asher always fights and speaks for the underprivileged and those in need. He writes about the people that everyone forgets or sees on the street but pass by every single day. Rebecca is the person who makes your coffee or cleans your office at night that you don’t see or that you look right through. Even with just one page Wyndham shows us why he’s one of the masters of the form and should be read and seen by everyone.
