How appropriate that Randy Shilts keeps repeating “I can’t breathe” in this intense ten minute play by Rachael Carnes. That repetition along with the brilliant theatrics pushed me into such corners of emotion that I immediately went and read the play all over again. A strong and powerful piece with a very distinct voice.
