    I saw this play read at the 2018 William Inge Festival and it was a delight. Such humor and of course the parallels drawn between the mission to mars and the 2016 U.S. Presidential election so spot on.

The discussion afterwards just proves what a masterful playwright he is as the entire room lit up with suggestions and feedback because we were all invested in this small, but power journey that he had created for us. If he keeps it as a ten minute play or expands it into something longer, the characters will be with you forever. I highly recommend this play for anyone and everyone.

    How appropriate that Randy Shilts keeps repeating “I can’t breathe” in this intense ten minute play by Rachael Carnes. That repetition along with the brilliant theatrics pushed me into such corners of emotion that I immediately went and read the play all over again. A strong and powerful piece with a very distinct voice.
