I had the good fortune of seeing this play at the Seattle Rep workshop. The playwright managed to create a script with a balance of humor an poignancy, and through a quiet character study, asks the questions of what happens when people lose sight of somethings cost vs. its worth. I read this play again recently and continue to be impressed with its humane treatment of a provocative premise.

This is a jarring, startling, and wonderful script. Playing out with all the tension of a heist gone wrong, this play pulled me in from the first moments, and allowed me to feel empathy for troubled people in a disaster of their own making. I look forward to seeing this one live.

A tightly written modern thriller. In a pressure cooker of a situation, Father Dan is taken by Carl into the darkest parts of the human soul. Scripted with both humor and tension, this is a surprising , taut, moral quandary.

A timely, concise, and cleverly plotted piece. I was impressed with how the playwright was able to slowly raise the stakes with surprising reveals about the characters and their true motives. The script came to an unexpected and completely satisfying conclusion. A perfect play for our era.

Andrea manages to update the farce into a wonderfully contemporary modern setting. She manages to capture the spirit of Marivaux's work with classical elements dusted off and reimagined in a lively world. Her characters are utterly endearing. This is one I look forward to seeing fully produced.

This is a script that manages to be personal yet universal, political yet not didactic, and uniquely theatrical. Beautifully done.
