I absolutely love this play. So much joy, humor, and passion that speaks to the frustrations of the creative life in a brilliant format – judging the art of 3rd graders!! Brilliant. I would both love to direct and see this play. Great, well-drawn roles for actors to run wild with in a play with lots of escalating fun and humor. The ending, which I didn’t see coming, is the perfect cure to what ails artists of any discipline. Heartwarming perfection.

This is a really compelling and theatrically exciting piece. I loved watching this play unfold without dialogue, and was thrilled to watch how the playwright matched the images with the actions. Such a brilliant depiction of the strong emotions we all carry inside, and a great portrait of a character. Poetic in its intensity. Really loved this!

This is such a sweet and hilarious take on wedding day anxieties! I love the way Steve structures this piece and am amazed at how much I learn about BOTH characters in such a short amount of time. The thrill of this ride is in both not knowing the ending but daring to hope, as well as following the great details and specifics that fuel both the humor and characterization. I can only imagine seeing this live – immense fun for the actors but probably quite challenging as they have to hold for laughs. Great humor. Beautiful heart. Perfect piece.

A beautiful play that draws you in from the top moment. Emily’s characters are so well developed and likable that you really want to know why they are the way they are. One of the great charms of this piece is watching as she peels away the layers to reveal their depth and pain. An emotionally compelling piece that leaves you feeling how imperfect we all are but how much we need each other -- and how beautiful the complexities can be. A great two-hander that actors will LOVE to play and audiences will love to watch.

John is such a funny and fast-paced writer who finds great ways to use all kinds of storytelling in his work. I loved reading this comedy thriller, but would so much rather see it live. Tons of fun for actors, directors, and audiences alike!

This fun and exciting short sci-fi play would be perfect for any school looking for a piece for school-aged actors. Moving with great momentum and compelling right up to its surprising end, this was a great, fast read. But I’d much rather see it live. Bravo, Jackson, for writing such an excellent and intriguing piece for young actors that would be enjoyed by audiences of all ages.

David Lipschutz delivers a hilarious and also horrifying play in this short piece that will get your heart pumping! An absolutely perfect play for any theatre looking to produce streaming theatre. Such an original and entertaining concept that David executes to perfection through his writing. Would be tons of fun for audiences and for any team working on this fantastic piece. Bravo!
