David Lipschutz delivers a hilarious and also horrifying play in this short piece that will get your heart pumping! An absolutely perfect play for any theatre looking to produce streaming theatre. Such an original and entertaining concept that David executes to perfection through his writing. Would be tons of fun for audiences and for any team working on this fantastic piece. Bravo!

  • Greg Vovos: No Right Time, a virtual play in 10 minutes

Beautiful, moving, and eloquently written and real. A truly powerful piece about frontline workers and their loved ones in the time of COVID. A great vehicle for performers and an extraordinary piece for audiences. A must see or read.

  • Greg Vovos: TAKE AWAY (from the TAPAS COLLECTION)

A sweet piece that shows all the ways we can connect with our loved ones and how that can change over time. As with all of Vivian's work, the piece moves at the perfect pace, the characters are real, and the language is always a feast.

  • Greg Vovos: Grown-Ass Louis

This play is everything perfect and wonderful about the 10-minute play format and theatre in general. In case it's not obvious, I love it.

  • Greg Vovos: Forgive Thyself

Busser has long been a master at comedy, but in this piece we watch him expand the genre as he mixes humor, with grace, with thoughtful contemplation, and heart. This original and innovative play invites us to consider belief and faith from a completely new point of view – what more can we ask of theatre? Full of surprise, humor, and meaning, this play would be a great addition to any evening of 10-minute plays and tons of fun for the actors privileged to act in it and audiences who see it.

  • Greg Vovos: The Apothecary

The APOTHECARY by Daniel Prillaman is a deceptively chilling piece that takes us to another time and place. The beauty of this play resides in its subtle surprise and focused storytelling. Just when you think you have this figured out, these characters surprise us with the truth that lives in their own, individual hearts. Simple yet elegant. With such nuance Prillaman portrays the foibles of man. There’s a lot for actors to sink their teeth into here. Bravo.

    Heartbreaking. Beautiful. Honest.

  • Greg Vovos: Alabaster

I love when I come across true theatre magic. And when it comes wrapped in a surprise, inside a tale of true emotion, connection, and meaning…all the better. Alabaster is an emotionally beautiful play that transports us to a world like no other. Audrey Cefaly’s writing draws you in while simultaneously celebrating life and discovery as only theatre can. Her dialogue jumps off the page and her characters grab you by the heart and soul. Incredible work and I hope to see this play soon. I’m grateful to Audrey Cefaly for writing this transcendent piece.

  • Greg Vovos: LEFTY'S LAST HOOK

This monologue stood out among many others when I heard it during an evening of great monologues. At the time, I remembered falling in love with the music of the language paired with the truth of character. And now, reading it brings all that back to me. Vivian is a true wordsmith and wizard at creating dialogue that dances to life. This monologue is great fun for performer and audience like. But what’s most impressive is how she balances the reality of her character with the poetry of the stage. I love this piece and audiences will, too.

So great! I love what happens here...from the intrigue, to the fact that I feel like I know these characters, to the emotional payoff--all in just one minute! Love this piece!
