  • Christopher Soucy: Pangea (Part Two of The Second World Trilogy)

Holy crap! This is a damn good play. The characters are masterfully constructed and delivered with a perfect combination of reverence and reality. This play makes the writer in me jealous while the theater lover in me rejoices. I can’t wait to read the third installment of this trilogy!

  • Christopher Soucy: And the Four Last Things

What a fantastic play! Perfectly paced and well balanced (pun almost intended.) I found the setup brilliant and the payoff cathartic. I could easily see it on the stage in my mind as I read. A wonderfully theatrical piece that will undoubtedly delight audiences wherever it is produced.

  • Christopher Soucy: The Bear - Takes Manhattan

Wonderful installment of the further adventures of everyone’s favorite vampire teddy bear. This series has been a joy to read and I have imagined the many ways to present it onstage. A puppet might be a great way to go. Although, just a man in a brown suit would also be great.

  • Christopher Soucy: The Bear - Reborn

The much anticipated tale of how the bear got his fangs is a welcome story! These short pieces carry with them a whole world of possibilities.

  • Christopher Soucy: The Bear - Crib of Doom

A thrilling continuation of the Vampire Teddy Bear story. This clever installment has out bear in grave danger. I enjoy Christopher Plumridge’s sense of whimsy. I would love to see these compiled in a children’s book.

  • Christopher Soucy: The Bear - Beginnings

Having read the chronicles of the Vampire Teddy Bear, I can enthusiastically recommend them all. A strange inverse of Winnie The Pooh, but equally delightful. I so so hope the stories will continue.

  • Christopher Soucy: Getting Better

This play dabbles in heartache. The heartache that comes from a lifelong crisis of faith. But it is the inevitable heartache of the human condition. Haunting and hopeful, this play is a bright ray of light in a cold cynical world.

  • Christopher Soucy: AMERIKIN

This play is breathtaking. Literally. I found myself holding my breath as I read it for fear of being spotted by the characters. It is an intimate play with a far-reaching impact. I felt like I was peeking through a neighbor's window. Having spent the majority of my life in the deep south, I have known men like Jeff and Dylan and counted myself lucky to not be embraced by their circle of influence. This is a chilling account of the casual nature of oppressive hate. I adore this play. It is bold, unflinching, and so very necessary.

  • Christopher Soucy: THE CONSCIENCE OF THE KING

This is absolutely brilliant! Amazing use of language. A tale of court intrigue. A close look at Gertrude's complicity. Answers to questions that scholars idly ask one another. I love deeper journeys into the worlds that Shakespeare crafted. This is a great read for any fan of Shakespeare, or theater in general for that matter.

  • Christopher Soucy: Marianas Trench (Part One of The Second World Trilogy)

Outstanding. Simply outstanding. I had never really considered the fact that I have never really seen a lot of depictions of half Koreans (like me) in a play. Certainly not in principle roles. I had no real idea how much it mattered to me until I was knee deep into this brilliant dystopian tale. It is an eerie mirror of the modern political landscape we traverse today. I do look forward to reading the rest of this trilogy and strongly recommend to anyone to read this play. I would love to see this trilogy in production.
