Lovely and funny, Sickles creates incredibly likable and well rounded characters in just under 10 minutes. The heart wants what the heart wants, and sometimes it's something the heart simply can't have. Beautiful work.

A truly incredible mixture of comedy/parody and a heartfelt narrative that leaves you laughing as much as crying. A really wonderful short play touching on the themes of friendship, queerness, and loss.
  • Red Light Discourse

An unexpectedly sweet piece about two men having just fucked in a sauna. Sukijjakhamin builds character dynamics and tension beautifully, while leaving you happily rooting for both characters. A brilliant short play!
  • My Body Is a Season

Beautiful ponderings of a trans masculine person whose top surgery date has been postponed. Pang's language is gorgeous and luxuriates in the dream sequences they've created. A brilliant monologue that I'd kill to see staged.
  • Eggplant

A truly wonderful piece exploring gender identity as well as guilt, depression, and loneliness. Rosenberg paints a compelling argument as to why we are better together and not as solitary beings.

Coming from someone who has just received top surgery, I don't know if Tirado-Ortiz could've gotten it even more correct. Between the beautiful language and imagery, the ponderings of this young man take us deep inside the trans experience and show us what it is like to be a trans man in this day and age. A beautiful piece for trans masculine actors.

Evolution in every sense of the word. This beautiful short play captures the trials of Kieran and Mona as they try to understand one another deeply and truly. A fantastic piece for a pair of non-binary actors; written authentically and with grace. A lovely read and would be even lovelier on the stage.

An unexpected encounter leads to conversations about love, addiction, need, and blue whales. A compelling piece that would be fun to see staged!
  • Rats are Racist

Pondering the intricacies in living in a world in which more and more people are ready to identify as non-binary, Perry explores not only the non-binary perspective, but the perspective of cisgender allies as well. A great piece for monologues!
  • Dead Name

An incredibly sweet play about ghosts, the paranormal world, and acceptance. Trans folk have always been around and this was a fun and lovely read/reminder of that.
