Chilling. Heartbreaking. Close to home. A hard play to read, but a necessary one.

Penny is such a well-crafted embodiment of trauma. Anyone who has survived a traumatic event or period of time will recognize the familiar, almost comforting presence of this part of themselves.

This is a sweet reflection on love (of various kinds) and on growing up. I love the way that time moves fluidly -- it's a very successful example of nonlinear movement.

Wow, wow, wow. This play blew me away. A delight to read, I can only imagine what it would be like to experience BLOOM BLOOM POW as a full production. If you're looking to produce something experimental that delves deeply into our changing, decaying world, this play is for you. If you're looking to read something that will challenge and inspire you, this play is for you, too.

Wow. This play left me shaken and excited and sad and fired up. Endlessly engaging, THE WOLF YOU FEED is hypnotic. The language is tight as a drum, and the characters are gorgeous. Surreal, musical, fantastical, and full of rage, this play is exactly what I always want to see onstage.

OPUS is a highly imaginative, fantastical story about love, companionship, and finding the things we need in unexpected places. I love the use of the characters' imaginations to craft their own story. As a nerd, I love the DnD element of this play, but it's so much more than a fantasy. Timms uses the context to explore very real, honest motivations: pain, rage, fear, and loss. A really fun read; would be great to see performed.

Oh my god, this play. I love it. So imaginative, laugh out loud funny, and sweet. A truly inspired idea: the kids from the chocolate factory fifteen years later, with all their neuroses and biases and attempts at forgetting their childhood traumas. It's hilarious, but it has so much heart at its center. It's truly a play about accepting change and embracing your identity. I would so dearly love to see a production of EVERLASTING CHOCOLATE THERAPY.

A lovely short play about aging and loving yourself -- past, present, and future you. The embracing of all phases of life, and of the final journey we take, is moving, sweet, and sad. Martin crafts a masterful short play here, a real treat for three actors to work on together.

WARPED is such an engaging piece of theatre -- I was practically holding my breath as I read it. Lhota has crafted a nuanced mystery that draws the audience into this world. It's an important play about police brutality, victim-blaming, and sexual assault; it becomes only more relevant as time goes on. It challenges the presuppositions we have about women who drink too much, about charming men, about those in power. It's a unique and well-developed inspection of the truth, and it would be a fascinating play to see in production.

Such a fun, sweet monologue. Bobby Anderson has a clear voice and deep desire to perform well, but things just aren't going his way. I loved the mashup of audition material. A very fun read.
