This play exposes the public school system as corrupt and flawed as the corporate world. With a complex woman at the center, this writer articulates and advocates for a better education for our children, for solutions to instruction, standardized testing, grading and evaluation. It's depressing at times, but even with the outcome, there's a bit of hope, a push thst a community of parents and teachers need in order to move in the right direction.

Not only do these gay - bear - characters rarely see the stage, these characters on the spectrum rarely do. The combination is comic gold and an emotionally complex relationship. I can't wait for the next installment!

When you're most miserable sometimes the poet comes out of you. This eloquent monologue about life under capitalism has an emotional punch that many can relate to. Short but not skimpy on substance.

This will be a fun piece for a scenic designer. And the audience will recognize themselves while laughing. Structurally and emotionally it works. I can see this playing in different cities around the world and open to interpretation.
