Is it okay to say that I wish I had thought of this brilliant idea? But I didn't. CHRISTOPHER SOUCY did. BOOM! What a masterful way of bringing a creative idea to life through authentic characters and natural words. "I represent the person you should be." - AMAZING. I hope this gets many an audience. It is priceless.
  • What You Did Say

What a powerful short play. The pacing brings the audience into the deserved tension, and the moment the two face each other is pure magic. SAM HEYMAN has a real gift of bringing characters to life with dignity, raw emotion, and truth. THIS NEEDS AN AUDIENCE!
  • The Boys Across the Street (Monologue)
    25 Jul. 2023
I hate this monologue for all the right reasons. DONALD E. BAKER has given a voice to so those who claim to offer love to all who really have darkness and hate in their core. I hope this short piece has a love life... although I wish it didn't have to.
  • The Birds Are Feeding Me

What an absolute pleasure it was to hear this read at a Sunday playwriting group. REX MCGREGOR is a true master of taking every situations and elevating them to art. So many awful situations occurs during lockdown, but this short piece being created for audiences to enjoy is truly one of the benefits.
  • Glue and Flea (10 minutes)
    25 Jul. 2023
Such a graceful depiction of a very ungraceful situation that happens to many humans as they age. The juxtaposition between youth and aging is balanced and perfect. Casting the right seasoned actress to play Millie is key to bringing this powerful short play to life as more than a caricature. She is real. She is raw. She is honest. ROBIN RICE gives both future actresses such a beautiful script to explore and perform.
  • Essie and Willie (a monologue)
    22 Jul. 2023
A beautiful recollection of a household filled with love and dance. This would be an amazing beginning to a poignant full length play or memoir.

Amazing how quickly a quiet morning can shift into an entire new life no one saw coming… well, they lawyer saw it coming. A fun 1-2 minutes into a new life beginning…. maybe even some batting practice.
  • FOUR BEDROOMS
    21 Jul. 2023
I adore a festival that celebrates women, especially those with wisdom and age. I had the pleasure of seeing MARJ O'NEILL'BUTLER's FOUR BEDROOMS at the Powerstories Theatre's third annual virtual global view-on-demand Voices of Women Theatre Festival! The four women that MARJ created are genuine, familiar, and real. Seasoned actresses will adore bringing these women to life. Watch it on your computer, iPad... or "SMARTIE" phone.
  • She Tunes the Violin: The Life of Martha Jefferson
    21 Jul. 2023
I had the pleasure of seeing this performed by a talented cast at the Powerstories Theatre's third annual virtual global view-on-demand Voices of Women Theatre Festival! I adore history coming to life through theatre. Showing all sides of the story, including those without the power, LISA DELLAGIARINO FERIEND handles the material with grace, beauty, and truth. Lovely.
  • Chasing Cinderella
    21 Jul. 2023
I had the pleasure to see this performed digitally through Powerstories Theatre's third annual virtual global view-on-demand Voices of Women Theatre Festival. A powerful story of youth, expectations, finding oneself, and truth. DANA HALL tells the story of many who grew up with fairytale princess only to ultimately find the they own story is much more magical. BEAUTIFUL.
