  • I KNOW WHAT BOYS WANT
    24 Jul. 2015
Saw this play in its most recent incarnation and found it to be funny, interesting and incredibly timely. It captured me the entire time. Colleges and Universities should really take a look at doing this play as it directly speaks to their generation without speaking down to them. I think they would love to act in it as well as see it performed.
  • Goldor $ Mythyka: A Hero Is Born

My favorite play of 2013 and still the theatrical experience that has stuck with me more than any other. This script is a daring dream, embracing theatricality and exploding with heart.
  • Once Upon A Bride There Was A Forest

One of my favorite theatre-going experiences last year. A magical, exciting and heartfelt journey; I was happy to go along for the adventure.
  • MEXICO

Mexico gutted me. Powerful, haunting, painful and brilliant. Hilary knows how to reach deep inside a person and tear them apart with her words.
  • Where You Can't Follow
    23 Jul. 2015
Beautiful, and heartwrenching - one of the most moving and funny plays I've ever read about death. Adam confronts the journey's end with unflinching honesty. I started laughing and ended crying - everything I would want out of a play.

A very sweet romantic comedy for the stage. This play was funny and touching, extremely endearing and ultimately hopeful. I enjoyed it very much.
  • Boldly Go

Matt Barbot's imagination is boundless. He's able to capture a love story within a true tale of science fiction. This play is fun, funny and poignant - it's amazing how far Barbot can take us in just a few pages.
  • The Cookie Fight
    9 Jul. 2015
Judith Leora's ability to mix humor with heartbreak constantly astounds me, both in this and all of her plays. This is a beautiful, fiercely written play with a powerful cast of characters. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
  • Rare Birds
    6 Jul. 2015
A haunting and poignant coming of age story, this play is brutally honest and cuts straight to the heart. A real reflection of our time, capturing the reality of bullying in a way I haven't seen on stage. Saw a reading at LCT3 and couldn't stop thinking about it - it will stick to your mind for days.
  • Any Day Now
    6 Jul. 2015
A zombie origin story coupled with a family drama, Nat Cassidy has written a funny, truly terrifying horror story that explores complex family dynamics, grief and greed through the lens of the undead. I saw this as a reading at ESPADrills and hope to see it produced in all its bloody glory at some point soon.
