One of my favorite theatre-going experiences last year. A magical, exciting and heartfelt journey; I was happy to go along for the adventure.

Mexico gutted me. Powerful, haunting, painful and brilliant. Hilary knows how to reach deep inside a person and tear them apart with her words.

Beautiful, and heartwrenching - one of the most moving and funny plays I've ever read about death. Adam confronts the journey's end with unflinching honesty. I started laughing and ended crying - everything I would want out of a play.

A very sweet romantic comedy for the stage. This play was funny and touching, extremely endearing and ultimately hopeful. I enjoyed it very much.

Matt Barbot's imagination is boundless. He's able to capture a love story within a true tale of science fiction. This play is fun, funny and poignant - it's amazing how far Barbot can take us in just a few pages.

Judith Leora's ability to mix humor with heartbreak constantly astounds me, both in this and all of her plays. This is a beautiful, fiercely written play with a powerful cast of characters. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

A haunting and poignant coming of age story, this play is brutally honest and cuts straight to the heart. A real reflection of our time, capturing the reality of bullying in a way I haven't seen on stage. Saw a reading at LCT3 and couldn't stop thinking about it - it will stick to your mind for days.

A zombie origin story coupled with a family drama, Nat Cassidy has written a funny, truly terrifying horror story that explores complex family dynamics, grief and greed through the lens of the undead. I saw this as a reading at ESPADrills and hope to see it produced in all its bloody glory at some point soon.

A biting commentary on our present day, Biolife is a imaginative, futuristic sci-fi adventure of the human condition. Cecilia has one of the most unique voices, blending sci-fi and realism, a human story with social commentary. Highly recommend this play and hope to see it produced someday!
