  • I found this super relatable piece to very relevant! With school decisions now being shared on Social Media, this is a charming representation of how Lizzy navigates her college choice (while navigating the thoughts and feels of others as well). A fun piece for performance, well done!

  • What powerful feelings in just 10 minutes. It's a tad jarring to see two lives go so quickly, but comforting knowing that they eventually get their resolve. Would love to see what a director could do with this! Well done.

  • A great scene for performers that can do well with comedy! This would be very enjoyable to watch and gives all three something fun to do and say. I love the subtle but realistic humor. "Why does she want to smell her watch?" had me laughing out loud. Well done!

  • All I can say is wow! Powerful, haunting, yet comedic, the audience quickly goes from a place of judgement to understanding to cheering them on. Very well written!

  • Scott has written an endearing scene about what we do for the ones we love, whether we know them or not. It makes the audience wonder have there been any silent acts of kindness done to them?

  • Bram Hartman: Poor Man's Poison

This piece really shows what raising the stakes means in an already heightened situation. We see two addicts at their worst, but there is still some hope presented. A very realistic view into the struggles of addiction and doing what needs to be done to feed the addiction. Well done!

  • Bram Hartman: Pause

A beautiful interaction between two people doing everyday things. What happens next? The possibilities are endless. This is an amazing example of how a scene can come together beautifully with no spoken words. Well done.

  • Bram Hartman: TELL ME I'M GORGEOUS AT THE END OF THE WORLD, The Last Gay Play

An absolutely stunning play. We've all found ourselves on the outside looking in and this play addresses that feeling. We think about what are our own lived experiences compared to what we think we should be experiencing, the fomo and "should we" beliefs. Coleman's work is relatable, but very smart, and funny. I would really enjoy seeing this play produced.

  • Bram Hartman: Seven -twelve (a monologue)

A tender but anxious description of a tragic day. Cancer is something we can all relate to because it touches so many lives. A performer would be gifted with such an honest and deep monologue to perform.

  • Bram Hartman: The Replacement

Incredible piece! Balancing striking humor and a serious topic. I love the quick upending of Clifford when given even the slightest of pushback. It feels real in that hateful people can't deal with confrontation. I smiled multiple times while reading this and others will too!
