I began as a reverent adaptor of great literature, mostly prose fiction. I have evolved into an irreverent adaptor of all kinds of literature including old plays that deserve some re-imagining for a contemporary audience, as well as original work. I am engaged by great stories, evocative language, and doing work that is worthwhile. While I am not afraid of bleakness, I tend to prefer to point towards hope and healing. I write quickly.
