I was raised in a culture of fighting for social justice, and I was encouraged to see the call towards that fight in all things, ranging from Judaism to theater and movies. I use storytelling to imagine and create the world I’d like to live in. The priorities reflected in the work I make are also my priorities in how the work is made. I feel passionately not just about my own writing, but also about making the industry as a whole more inclusive. Integrating advocacy and my own authorial voice allows me to bring a new point of view to an industry that has historically ignored my peers and me.
