  • Kate Danley: THE FERRYMAN’S APPRENTICE (ten-minute play)

An eerie, haunting tale set in Greek mythology. For a ten-minute play, it sure packs an emotional punch.

  • Kate Danley: You Can Bake! (a short Zoom play)

Absolutely HILARIOUS piece that escalates beautifully into madness! FANTASTIC character roles! And it utilizes the Zoom platform perfectly. This would be a joy to watch online.

  • Kate Danley: Yarn and Anarchy — a Christmas play

Twists and turns on every page! The cat-and-mouse game goes at a breakneck speed! This would be a fantastic addition to an evening of holiday shorts.

  • Kate Danley: Mrs. Principal, a monologue

A beautiful, dreamy piece filled with poetic imagery and prose. The rhythms remind me of sitting by a river or a stream. Absolutely lovely!

  • Kate Danley: A VERY STABLE GENIUS (Co-written with Ben Brinkley, Diana Burbano, Rachael Carnes, Greg Burdick and Jordan Elizabeth Henry)

Brilliantly takes Ubu Roi and brings it into the modern world. Masterful in its use of cartoon violence and humor to skewer today's politics and culture. It would have made Alfred Jarry proud!

  • Kate Danley: Stamina

A HILARIOUS piece for actresses 70+! Think "The Golden Girls" climbing Mount Everest! It breaks away from all of the tired tropes most people write for women that age. A showcase piece that allows the ladies to show off their comedic chops! Brava!

  • Kate Danley: Kayfabe

I had the privilege of seeing Kayfabe at Ghost Light Theatricals and it was a TOTAL hoot, while also being surprisingly touching and emotional. And as a bonus gift, I knew next to nothing about the world of wrestling, but walked away after the show with a whole new appreciation for the artform. So Greek gods and wrestling and an exploration of family dynamics. What's not to love?

  • Kate Danley: Privateers

A rolicking script filled with swashbuckling pirates and dazzling dialog! And beneath it, this script examines the damaged caused by the search for revenge, even to the point of destroying a precious part of your soul. Fun while also thought provoking!

  • Kate Danley: The Night Witches

I have been obsessed with the Night Witches ever since I stumbled upon one of their planes in a museum and a small little placard describing their heroism in WWII. I'm thrilled that their story is being told and told so well. There is a poetry and rhythm to this piece that is absolutely captivating. High schools and colleges? This show features age appropriate, powerful roles for an all-female ensemble of eleven women. Let this show take flight on your stage!

  • Kate Danley: Ariadne

So much fun! It's Greek myths reimagined on a spaceship! There's a murder mystery, intrigue, romance... everything for a great night of theatre paired with breezy dialog that flows fast and quick. I've never read anything like it. A total hoot!
