An important chapter in American theatre history that, sadly, has been largely forgotten over time. Charles S. Gilpin is deserving of remembrance. Add to the historical value of this piece complicated, three-dimensional characters; thoughtful, well-paced dialog; struggles of race; and a strongly crafted narrative and this play would be a welcome addition to any theatre's season.

A noir murder mystery featuring an all POC cast? Yes, please! Fantastic, moody writing. Great characters. Twists and turns abound! I didn't figure out whodunit until it was revealed. If you love Mousetrap, you'll love this play. A great addition to any theatre's season!

Absolutely hilarious! Great farce with awesome physical comedy. I was so sad it was only a one-act! (Which, in my mind, is the sign of a fantastic piece.) Great characters, high stakes, fast paced dialog. I didn't want it to end!

  • Kate Danley: The Great Fish & Jonah

Totally delightful with a side helping of thoughtful examination of friendship, fate, and calling. A fantastic opportunity for an actress to own the stage. I saw this at the Spokane Civic Theatre Playwrights Forum Festival and thoroughly enjoyed it!

An absolutely gorgeous play! I saw this live at Theater Off Jackson, produced by Macha Theatre Works, and it was breathtaking. I still think about it. If you are looking for a play with strong, original, female roles, one that tackles some pretty heavy philosophical ideas without ever being heavy handed, this is the play for you! Nuanced, multilayered, universal, complex, ancient feeling and yet new, unlike anything I've seen before.

  • Kate Danley: ACCOMMODATION

A stunning play that examines our modern educational system from all sides while somehow managing to do it without taking sides. The dialog is at a galloping pace and the script practically sizzles. Tense, taut, complex, and thoroughly engrossing. You'll find yourself compelled to flip the page to find out what is going to happen next. Highly recommend!

  • Kate Danley: A Dave with Destiny

A delightful, fast paced, hilarious play about missed connections with a bang of a twist at the end. Sparkling dialog that barrels along at a breakneck speed. So much fun! Easy set, staging, and casting, it would make a great addition to an evening of short plays.

  • Kate Danley: Immersion Therapy

Such a funny, sweet, while a bit naughty, play about getting over one's fear of clowns. It was a complete surprise and I didn't see that ending coming. Would be a great addition to any "general audience of grownups" evening of short, comedic plays!

  • Kate Danley: Fire Season

A fascinating study of the opioid epidemic and the ripple effects through a community. I appreciated so much that we never met the users, this play was about all of the lives surrounding the storms. Powerful moments and some great monologues for women. Aurin Squire did an amazing job capturing the bleakness of the impoverished PNW landscape.
