I'm always excited when writers bring such color to 10 minute plays. It's such an alive piece with the drumming, the movement, the imaginary elephant! Plus, the language is also lovely and grief is sad and sweet. I can imagine watching it will be rough (in a beautiful way haha.) I can see why it's been produced a ton!

Kinda want an act two! But appreciate that because Asexuality as an identity has become more visible that there can be conversations about the many ways people are sexless with more compassion. And in that space conversations about sexuality, religion, and reclaiming language. Arreola gives us clues as to Rosa and Lucy's relationship. Actually, it's quite clear without being in your face. Lucy is, in the present day, like a ghost I was dying to meet. I was also interested in the questioning of what is abstinence exactly --The whole basis of a group rooted in something grey!

Erin has the great way of lulling you into a false sense of security. You think you're going into something conventional and perhaps sweet and then slowly you start to realize something much darker is afoot. This piece deals with such a serious subject matter in a breezy manner that deep down you know you should be horrified but it's actually really funny! And deeply relatable. Don't worry, there is light at the end of the tunnel. And a bear!

This piece has the kind of turn I'd always hope for in the noir films I watched. It starts off fun, even normal. Eventually you sense something sinister is afoot, and you feel a bit nervous, a bit worried, and then bam the tables are turned!

It's an almost love story, a story of betrayal, a story of getting what you want and then realizing you're not that into it! "Hysteria" is a fun, twisty comedy that would be so delightful to watch. (Also a perfect companion piece to "Dropping the Handkerchief" by Kendra Augustin (wink, wink) if you're looking for a night of fun, unclichéd (Victorian) rom coms)!

Love the chaotic energy. Would love to see it live. It's super fast, and funny, and even surprising! Tons of fun.

Energetic and layered play: talks of nepotism, lots of physical comedy, actor styles clashing, and a variety of hidden feelings coming to light. I think this would be such a fun play to watch!

Long Lost Friend is a piece that I think can offer comfort and optimism for those who experience grief. Just the possibility that in the most harrowing of situations, our loved ones may not be alone!

A longer piece about the adventures of Nya and the people she meets along the way would be very fun! I think her sense of humor is abundant but dry which I adore.

This Gen Z-er (Zoomer) just wants to be able to exist as his own person and his Gen X-er mom wants him to do what she thinks is right. Which seems what a lot of opposing political conversations seem to be about: not fighting for the greater good perhaps due to some desire for control and being so certain that you are on the side of right that you feel insane that others can't see it. Perhaps due to some desire for control. It's a fun quippy play but also a bit sad.

I don't think I've ever learned about Jesus being afraid of dying and just that revelation in the opening had me hooked. This idea that the man that people worship had a fear that so many of us mere mortals have. In the end when the character asks "What if it had been Lazarus?" And I could vividly see Jesus looking to share his curiosity with his pal and being gutted with the news of the loss of his friend. So when the speaker says he's only human I think, Oh yeah. Jesus sort of was too.
