Artistic Statement

I am a work-in-progress funny person who is trying to write funny things about a world that hates human beings. Beyond that, I enjoy creating work in how we interact with the space and text through spontaneity. There is something remarkable when we see performers create those unexpected moments and surprises by allowing themselves to delve into the unknown. It is funny, hysterical, terrifying, fearless and original. It is all of these things, and it’s what I crave when I walk into the theater. No two show is ever the same when it’s alive. I’m excited to write relevant stories that also provides the players the freedom to explore beyond the extent of what they can do in the most physical way. I write to breathe life on to the stage.
