  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: My Zombie Valentine

Yup. I totally Laughed Out Loud reading this fast paced play! The LOLs are as real as the mindless consumerism this one act skewers. This was such a delight to read, I can only imagine, with the right cast and a fun design how great this will be to actually WATCH! Great take on the zombies, too!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Bunny and Branch

"If the walls could talk..." Maybe they would help give you perspective on your life? At first it seems Karoleena is here to help Bunny avoid some bad choices in the heat of passion. But maybe she's there to help Branch finally make some good choices? Truly a fun play, would be a blast for the design team as well!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Glory Obscured

"Stuck in the middle with you." That's the song I'm hearing in my head as I finish reading this one act play. It's delightful to picture a demon, running a bar, training an angel to be just a little human. The details we get through Raum's gentle, but pointed ribbing of Cass is so beautifully delivered, we feel like we've known them both...for a while. A great addition to an evening of theatre!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: ANGELS AT THE WATERCOOLER

"well-behaved" angels rarely make history. This is so funny to see grumpy angels trying to relive the old days when they were taken seriously at their jobs. Wobensmith's pen is as mighty as Michael's sword, showing us relatable celestial beings who are still just the slightest bit intimidating. This would be a great show to design as well! Lots of fun packed into 10 minutes or less!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: BEST BEWARE MY STING

It's about time Petruchio got what was coming to him! If you have a love/hate relationship with The Taming of The Shrew, then you definitely need to join O'Felia as she helps Kate retain her sense of self and saves her from gaslighting, mansplaining men! A true delight!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Planetary Dynamics

This is the stuff that nerds like me eat right up! So many laugh out loud moments! And you really don't have to know a LOT about astronomy to get all the jokes, but it DOES make it a LOT funnier if you do. Who knew, even as a grown up, I could have fun while learning? This is SO MUCH FUN! Love it!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Listening to the Neighbors

This is an interesting and well executed slice of life audio play. Truly, bite size slices of life. But so very real. And I love how you get to turn around and go back and hear more from each house. It all flows very smoothly in real time. As someone who walks their own neighborhood regularly, I too listen and try to imagine the rest of the stories in each home I pass as I get little nibbles of the life inside.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Your First Pet and the Street You Grew Up On

Wow! The visuals and the well thought out dialogue will make this a very hard hitting and memorable part of an evening. This play is nothing you expected in slightly familiar clothing. It really leaves you thinking and wanting to reach out and hug the characters because they're so very real, as is their struggle. Well done.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Big Mouth Thunder Thighs

This is absolutely beautiful, funny and heart-breakingly relatable. I would love to see this piece. I would love to perform this piece. I would love for the world to see this piece and understand. Thank you, Bess Welden for such a raw and real piece of theatre. Such great work!

OMG I am so glad I read this script today! I have been looking for my smile and it was in this play all along! I absolutely love and relate to Kirsten. I would click subscribe to her channel in a second. She is the best, I love her, I want to see more of her! Well written, Courtney Bailey!
