From a seemingly well travelled path, infuriatingly told, Vivian takes us on a darker road less travelled. Deliciously evil!

As usual with Vivian, her characters and settings paint such a clear picture that I could smell the unmistakable aroma of old money and revenge. A short but intriguing play I would love to see played out in Glasgow's Oran Mor Theatre

For those of us with kids, grandkids, this wee lakeside holiday rings so true. I realised at once why I had the strange feeling that I'd read it before... Vivian provides a snapshot in time of a memory many of us will recognize and treasure

This is way up there amongst her best! A short, sweet (you'll see) tale of unrequited love, with a less than comedic use for a custard pie ending... Sublime

As ever, cleverly conceived and beautifully written. Vivian, using music as her scaffolding, builds her short, bittersweet tale.

Two sisters... Two peas... Two wildly different pods. Hippie sister, caught between her role as confidante and loyal sis, steers her favourite niece to a compromise with her over expectant, traditional mum... All's well that ends well... Lermond is the master (sic) of the short tale

Wow! Not only a great monologue, but a free road map for us aspiring writers. Miller cleverly lays out the passion, the background and the necessity to live our characters.... Thank you...thank you...thank you.

Before I knew it, I was reading this story with a small, southern boy's accent! And I'm Scottish! No mean feat Vivian...thanks for such a short, sweet.. (see what I did there) treat!

The ground down heroine in this short, finally takes stock and decides that life is too short to be what external forces have decided she should be... Looking forward to the sequel Vivian...we want more!

Once again, I'm amazed at how much Vivian can pack into such a short piece! Longing...Anticipation...Disappointment...Hope eternal...So clever..
