Horror is a very hard genre to do in theatre...and this was a very effective way to do it, bringing us in through a character telling a story, a compelling and heart-pounding story. It makes me long to see what else Gadomski has up their sleeve.

This play is honestly a hilarious subversion of the "Bridezilla" trope, instead creating a bride so easy-going and magnanimous that that becomes the problem. I really enjoyed this piece and the humor it delivered had my belly aching by the end.

This is a very interesting bit of magical realism with lots of room for powerful interpretations. Could work equally well as an absurd comedy or a darker, creepier thing. I dig it.
  • Bump In The Night (10-min version)

A comedic romp with a fun twist at the end that elevates the piece from clever to hilarious. Ben and Sarah feel real in a way where I just am dying to see them brought to life on a stage.

Cathro writes in such a naturalistic style. What could easily be the premise for a lowbrow comedy skits becomes compellingly human...and funnier for it.
