Adam and Fei are stranded on the International Space Station after the nuclear apocalypse kicks- off back down on Terra Firma. The question for them is not only how to survive, but what survival even means when you are the last to people left on earth. Last two people OF earth. This existential pickle is only amplified when they begin to receive strange radio messages, broadcasts of the last thoughts of every person on earth as they burned to death. In order to keep on keeping on, they must forget their past, shed their civility, mutilate corpses, eat worms, turn metal and plastic and glass into plants and dirt and life and become something new. Something just shy of human. Something base. Because, humans may be able to survive after the end of society, but can humanity?
