  • Jack Levine: Red Star, Blue Star

BRIDGETTE DUTTA PORTMAN’s play is one in which I was totally engrossed from the beginning and surprised at the end. Relationships are dynamic and can be more so when a couple is miles and miles apart for a long time. I love the buildup and the twists at the end. “Red Star, Blue Star” is a wonderful sci-fi.

  • Jack Levine: The Review, a monologue

    D. LEE MILLER’s monologue is a fascinating piece of what a consequential, long-term, yet greatly undervalued employee, might say, or at least think, while she is about to hear her review and what her raise is. “The Review, A Monologue” is a gem and will evoke some interesting discussions ‘over the water cooler’, if that even happens in this day and age.

  • Jack Levine: THE LESSON [A 1-MINUTE PLAY]

STEVEN G. MARTIN’s “The Lesson (a 1-minute play)” is a beautifully written piece about the impact an older sibling has on his younger brother. There are countless times seemingly uneventful happenings form a strong bond between siblings. This is a wonderful piece!

  • Jack Levine: Ugly Doctor Hospital

JOHN BUSSER’s Play, “Ugly Doctor Hospital”, is a radio play with a lot of humor, fun characters, and the pure joy of knowing all will end well even if it doesn’t. I truly love thIs comedy piece and look forward to being one of the characters in an upcoming performance.

  • Jack Levine: Two Yards of Satan

KELLY MCBURNETTE-ANDRONICOS’ short play is a laugh out loud, fun piece, which will be a hit with audiences. “Two Yards of Satan” turns an inadvertent misspelling into a tussle between Satan, Jesus, and Cop to ‘get it right’ despite Pam’s insistence she doesn’t want or need their help.

  • Jack Levine: Change of Plans

MICHELE MILLER’s short play, “Change of Plans”, is a brilliant monologue in which you find out so much, have a visceral reaction to all the unfair pain and suffering of this woman, and gladly fantasize her plan will work out. I love this piece for its clarity of what an abusive relationship is. BRAVO!

  • Jack Levine: I'm a fan (A Monologue)

CORA FRANK puts an explanation point on a splendid one-minute monologue of the true feelings of a student toward their teacher. “I’m A Fan (A Monologue)” made me think of the times I just wanted to put someone in their place but held back. There is no holding back here. Good job!

  • Jack Levine: EASY TARGET [A MONOLOGUE]

STEVEN G. MARTIN in his one-minute piece brilliantly portrays the strong feelings of Nathan, who has self-doubt, hates himself, and has overwhelming anxiety. “Easy Target” is anyone who shows a weakness in the corporate world of ‘dog-eat-dog’.

  • Jack Levine: Gemini: Lessons in Self-Love

JACQUELYN FLOYD-PRISKORN poses an interesting premise of two soulmates coming as close together as possible by being in one body. “Lessons in Self-Love” is a really witty short play with a reminder: Love can be wonderful, but it may not always be so. This was a very interesting read and would be fun to watch performed.
