  • Jack Levine: The Third Act

EMMA WOOD is a superb playwright, and I am so moved by her works. In “THE THIRD ACT”, the lives of a father, mother, daughter, divorced best friend, former lover, current mistress, and more, are intertwined in a romantic, touching, and powerful play. The dialogue is so real, so revealing, so riveting that you will be satisfied from the beginning to the ending - but hope there is a sequel as the characters are so interesting. You really feel the emotions, the ups and the downs, throughout. This is a play you want to read and see performed! BRAVO!

  • Jack Levine: Awkward Robot's Instruction Manual For Dating Other Awkward Robots

MATTHEW WEAVER’s two robots interact in a wonderfully realistic ‘sci-fi way’. You see the underlying subtleties of a human romantic relationship but with the wonderful, intriguing ‘take’ of futuristic robots. “AWKWARD ROBOT’S INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR DATING OTHER AWKWARD ROBOTS” is a witty play.

  • Jack Levine: The Get-Together

DANIEL PRILLAMAN keeps us in suspense, horror, and anticipation as he keeps us riveted in a play for Halloween and any other time you want to enjoy a horror story. “THE GET TOGETHER” is a well-written play and definitely an audience pleaser.

  • Jack Levine: The German Play

KEN LEVINE’s play is a laugh out loud ‘play within a play’ of two actors doing a bad job of performing a poorly translated German play into English on short notice. “THE GERMAN PLAY” is witty, wild, and wonderful. Audiences are going to love watching this play performed.

  • Jack Levine: The Benefits of Fringe Popularity and Social Invisibility (Playing on the Periphery #6)

SCOTT SICKLES has a insightful take on the interactions of young people. I love the setup and most especially the twist at the end. “THE BENEFITS OF FRINGE POPULARITY AND SOCIAL INVISIBILITY” reminded me of the childhood pranks we played, and were perpetrated against us, in our formative years. You will find this play to be delightful.

  • Jack Levine: Home Truth (Ten Minute)

PAUL DONNELLY’s play, “HOME TRUTH” (TEN MINUTE), is a realistic take on the horror of an abusive marriage in which the abuser controls. This is a powerful tale of a spouse, who knows and hates the reality of her situation, but feels she cannot breakaway even with emotional and financial support from her sister. I highly recommend this play.

  • Jack Levine: Commencement

SARA JEAN ACCUARDI’s “COMMENCEMENT” is a touching play of two grandmothers, who want to put the best face on a divorce for the sake of their grandchild. Divorce is hard on the family, but the emphasis needs to be on the most vulnerable - the child - who was not a part of the decision of his parents to end their marriage.

  • Jack Levine: Trick or Treat?

CALLEY N. ANDERSON handles an emotional, potential life-threatening situation in a fast moving, witty short play. “Treat or Treat?” is well-worth reading and will be a winner in a play festival. I would love to see this play performed.

  • Jack Levine: Claire's Invisibility Monologue

KIM E. RUYLE’s “CAIRE’S INVISIBILITY MONOLOGUE” is from a full-length play. A young has yearnings to be more than she is expected to be. I look forward to reading the full-length play.

  • Jack Levine: Three Pillows

JIM DALGLISH’s short play, “THREE PILLOWS”, had me laughing and thoroughly enjoying the twists and turns as I read this delightful play, I truly loved the way the play evolved as the truth was revealed. I think audiences will enjoy this play, and I definitely would love to see this play performed.
