This play has been on my mind for almost five years now. Thought-provoking, expertly written, and thoroughly researched, O'Grady's exploration of genius in the midst of familial trappings is spellbinding. I will champion this play forever.

  • Welcome to Matteson!
    22 Dec. 2019
A wittily written and deconstructive piece of theatre that explores race and class with extreme depth. The characters are well defined and motivated, and the script is paced very well. A play I'd love to watch.

I keep coming back to this play when I think I'm done with it, and just keep pouring over it again and again. Freeman creates an ambient world full of precise mystery. A great piece of work.
