Amy Dellagiarino is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter whose work has been produced across the country. Her play "From the Perspective of a Canoe" won the Playwriting Script Competition at the 2021 Austin Film Festival and her play "The Value of Moscow" was nominated for a 2019 Stage Raw Award for Best Playwriting. Her comedy feature film "Freelancers Anonymous", co-written with Lisa Cordileone, won the 2018 NCGLFF Audience Award for Best Women’s Feature, was a recipient of the Frameline Completion Fund Award, and earned the Reframe Stamp for gender balanced media. Published works include "The Value of Moscow" through Stage Rights and "The Most Precious Thing", which will be included in "The Best 10-Minute Plays 2023" through Smith & Kraus this fall. Her short plays have garnered the Best Comedy award in various festivals and she has participated in developmental readings and workshops with noted LA theatre companies such as Sacred Fools, Theatre of Note, Rogue Machine Theatre, Moving Arts, Inkwell Theatre, and The Blank Theatre Company. She was a 2021 participant of the Kennedy Center Playwrights Intensive as well as the resident playwright with Dark Horse Theatre Company in Virginia and a founding member of Walking Shadow Readers Theatre which focuses on new playwrights and new play development. She earned her BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

    FULL LENGTH. Three sisters move back into a New York City apartment together after their lives have taken turns for the worse. Before they can even finish unpacking, their first night together becomes a comedy of Chekhovian proportions. Armed with nothing but a dwindling bottle of vodka, some pizza, and a loaded gun, these siblings must set aside their grievances and work together to save themselves from an ever-escalating series of events.
