What a brilliant combination of Shakespeare and The Princess Bride! The two work seamlessly together. Well done.

For those of us old enough to remember this strange time to be alive, when the fear of both computers and the world shutting down at midnight as we fell forward into the dreaded 2000s, this play is highly nostalgic. With the end of the 90s already setting a disquieting tone, the characters themselves are taking a tremulous step forward in their respective lives, despite the uncertainty of what may or may not lie ahead after midnight.

Samantha Oty has crafted a darkly comic, multi-layered time capsule that will leave a lasting impression on any audience.

This is such an amazing and unconventional way to show the disconnect a person with gender dysphoria feels. Andrew Martineau has crafted a brilliant, laugh-out-loud comedy that has something for everyone. You will walk away from it not only entertained but more aware. Well done!

What a breath of fresh air this play provides. Such a different portrayal of marriage and cisgender heteronormativity versus the transgender experience. Emma Goldman-Sherman has crafted a remarkable play that deserves to be produced.

I am amazed by this short, grueling piece. Brian's confrontation with his father is so bitter and heartfelt. You really root for him,or for his dad to change his perspective by the end of the play. The end was surpring and completely satisfying. Highly recommended!
  • Deep Blue: A Dysphoria

This play is amazing! There is so much symbolism and so many layers to explore in this short, concise, and highly emotional piece. It is wonderful to see both aspects: one experiencing gender dysphoria, the other experiencing it vicariously through her loved one. I would love to see more of these two as they both come to terms with the fluidity of gender and what it means to them. Well done!
  • Immigration Story: B. Wende of Davison, MI

This is a powerful historical account of one woman's family history, leaving America for the promise of freedom in Canada, to only return generations later for the promise of employment. What a thrilling and heartbreaking story.
  • The Fall of Anne Boleyn; Presented as a Modern Day FaceTime Call
    17 Jul. 2021
I really want to see this play executed. (No pun intended.) We live in a time of historical reimaginings, with hits such as Six and Hamilton gracing the Broadway stages. Likewise, Samantha Oty has created a highly imaginative, historically accurate reimagining of Anne Boleyn's tragic demise, perfect for digital theater. (Though I would really like to see this done on stage, and have a few ideas.) I loved every minute of it, and honestly, would love to see a full length done in this style. Must read and produce!
  • My Perfectly Valid Objections

Mikki Gillette has crafted a fast-paced dating romp dedicated to trans-feminism. Teri is abrasive and hypersuspicious—qualities a lot of trans folx share. It is fun to watch her launch the verbal torpedos at a far-from-squeamish Doug. He is an expert defensive player in this word play. Highly recommended. MY PERFECTLY VALID OBJECTIONS would be a stand-out production in any festival.

I can barely see through my tears.
Often, we can easily forget that a transition involves more than just the person physically transitioning, but everyone else who loves the person they knew. Playwright Tom Erb boldly shows the other side of the gender dysphoria coin, with a grandparent mourning the loss of his granddaughter, not ready to accept his grandson. Brilliant words of wisdom. A must read.
