Have you ever wondered what your characters do when you are no longer playing with them? Do they merely sit exactly where you left them, for weeks, sometimes years? Ilana Lydia has masterfully visualized an answer to this question. This short play has striking imagery and themes that really stick with you long after you are finished reading (or seeing).

This is one of the most moving shorts I have read. Ilana Lydia deftly captures the heartfelt yearning to bring joy and peace to a friend in her moment of triumph, and the deep pangs of regret when all efforts have failed. I was moved to tears. I cannot wait to see this performed!
