  • William Meurer: Doomscrolled.

A beautifully bonkers story about friendship, robots, and Taco Bell. Proctor has a zany, irreverent sense of humor that absolutely sings in this fun ten minute sci-fi comedy.

  • William Meurer: Don't Think About Elephants

An incredible, moving, and empathetic story about people you don't often see as the protagonists of their own stories. Rogers has created a beautiful non-judgmental story full of memorable characters that you cant help but root for as they attempt to re-build relationships that are "safe, sane, and consensual."

  • William Meurer: The Lover and the Fighter

Sam Heyman has written a beautiful coming of age story about two teenage boys navigating their feelings, and what to do when someone is unable to love you in the way that you deserve to be loved. Watching these characters grow throughout this play and learn how to process their feelings of loneliness, identity, and unrequited love is a moving visceral journey that I cannot urge you enough to take.

  • William Meurer: WEIRD GIRL SUMMER

A beautiful and honest depiction of two queer teenagers trying to take control of their lives, when authority figures (and TV execs) keep taking that control away from them. Courtney Taylor writes her characters with such precision and specificity, that they feel like kids you've grown up with your whole life. Their needs are real and you cant help but want to see them succeed in fulfilling them (even when one of those needs is premeditated murder.)

  • William Meurer: Emergency Contact

Had the pleasure of seeing this play performed at SOOP Theater Company and absolutely loved it! The story and characters are fun and easy to become invested in; and Jake finds just the right balance between the comedic and sincere. A truly wonderful work!

  • William Meurer: Man of God

A brilliantly real play. Anna constructs a tight rope walk of a play that each of her characters must try and navigate. Her dissection of the male gaze, especially by those in positions of power, is rightfully unsettling and intense. A captivating read!

  • William Meurer: Two Socks Discuss Loss

A surprisingly thought provoking and deep story told through an unusual and semi-absurdist lens. This is a wonderful play that balances the comedic and somber moments of its plot very well!
