  • Cassidy Byron: Run Away with Me

Very clever use of a split stage, and the story is interesting and easy to follow. Really enjoyed this!

  • Cassidy Byron: I WANT A VOICE, a one-act play

A fun show! Use of literary references is clever and the plot progression is clear. Highly recommend!

  • Cassidy Byron: Death of an Actor

Charming characters with clear goals who I care about from the start. Therefore, it is tragic and devastating to watch Finn's inevitable downward spiral as the play progresses. Scenes are short enough to keep the pace up and I enjoyed seeing a couple cool dialogue callbacks. Highly recommend!

  • Cassidy Byron: Triggers

The play centers around a very intriguing mystery with very intriguing characters. It's never quite clear who we can trust, and the ending is very satisfying. Really enjoyed this read!

  • Cassidy Byron: Tucumcari Tonite!

This play is gripping from the outset and the release of information is at the perfect pace. The characters are distinct and clearly change from beginning to end. Really sweet and fun piece!

  • Cassidy Byron: ITCH

A very creative premise with a lot of tension. I was fully engaged with the motivations and arcs of each character, and as someone with Tourettic OCD, I felt really seen reading this play. Additionally, it would be easy to produce with just the one set and no extravagant effects. Really enjoyed this!

  • Cassidy Byron: Come Again

Hooked me from the first line and is SO FUNNY. A show like this would have been easy to be preachy, offensive, political, but avoids it entirely and I even felt like I had an epiphany or two reading this. The radio host interludes really paid off at the end. And the ending is SHOCKING - I actually gasped, and I think my being angry that it didn't end nicely the way a comedy should is exactly what a play like this needs - for the audience to leave enraged. Absolutely adore this piece.

  • Cassidy Byron: happy life

I had the privilege of seeing this performed live, and it absolutely blew me away. The story is enrapturing, unsettling, enticing, sexy, and tastefully combines horror with humor. Each character has many layers to be pulled back and every twist is both shockingly unexpected and exquisitely foreshadowed. By the end of the show, I was wishing for a third act only to stay in this fascinating, fantastical world a little longer.

  • Cassidy Byron: FAMILY BY NUMBERS Award-winning 10-minute drama

Stellar foreshadowing. Gave me chills and almost had me in tears by the end, all in ten short pages. Very impressive writing.
