  • Cassidy Byron: Come Again

Hooked me from the first line and is SO FUNNY. A show like this would have been easy to be preachy, offensive, political, but avoids it entirely and I even felt like I had an epiphany or two reading this. The radio host interludes really paid off at the end. And the ending is SHOCKING - I actually gasped, and I think my being angry that it didn't end nicely the way a comedy should is exactly what a play like this needs - for the audience to leave enraged. Absolutely adore this piece.

  • Cassidy Byron: happy life

I had the privilege of seeing this performed live, and it absolutely blew me away. The story is enrapturing, unsettling, enticing, sexy, and tastefully combines horror with humor. Each character has many layers to be pulled back and every twist is both shockingly unexpected and exquisitely foreshadowed. By the end of the show, I was wishing for a third act only to stay in this fascinating, fantastical world a little longer.

  • Cassidy Byron: FAMILY BY NUMBERS Award-winning 10-minute drama

Stellar foreshadowing. Gave me chills and almost had me in tears by the end, all in ten short pages. Very impressive writing.

  • Cassidy Byron: TOUCH THE MOON - full-length play, 5 characters

An enticing, haunting mystery with loveable, distinct, dynamic characters; we understand where all of them are coming from and want to believe them. The transitions between scenes are pure art and it is easy to picture this on a stage. Information is given out sparsely to keep us curious, but not so much that we are left confused. The nonlinear narrative makes playful lines heartbreaking. Motifs are strong and expertly laced into the story. No detail is spared - this narrative was crafted with extreme care. I will be thinking about this play for a long time.
