  • Christian Flynn: Don't Think About Elephants

A hilarious, touching, wholesome play about kink. The script is able to keep the stakes high without ramping into melodrama. The characters are fantastic, and in particular Brittany is one I'll never forget and hope to see come to life in a full production!

  • Christian Flynn: Erastes

A fantastic play that stretches what can be done with pace/cast size! Both a fun and enlightening read a formal experiment.

  • Christian Flynn: Blank Slate

A staggering piece of genre-theater. Both a sci-fi thriller and a scathing look at contemporary politics — Max Gil fights white supremacy by slowly ratcheting up the tension and revealing his world. Rarely is an intelligent piece of work this nail-biting and page-turning. Fantastic.

  • Christian Flynn: Carroll County Fix

I was lucky enough to see and not just read this play. Like a hometown-hangout movie a-la Clerks or Slacker shot-through with politics, queerness, heartbreak and concern. Me and my partner still use the term "Stinky Pete" to refer to a certain type of townie that we all know and recognize. When a character can stick with you like that... well... I don't know what higher compliment I can give. Read this play.

  • Christian Flynn: So Panic

What a gorgeous, delicate, heart-ripping play. A work of extreme power. So Panic sneaks up on you, not with an over-blown plot or exaggerated characters, but with it's attention to nuance and extreme depth of feeling. Kit's mental illness is almost frighteningly real. A play that's difficult to get through for sure, but absolutely worth it if you can.

  • Christian Flynn: Untitled Babysitting Play

A chilling puzzlebox of a play. Horror — but in the slow-burn "what the fuck" sort of way of John by Annie Baker or "I'm Thinking of Ending Things" by Charlie Kaufman. Deserves a production that's as creepy as it.

  • Christian Flynn: SWAY

Fantastic! Don't let it's internet clothing fool you, SWAY is a thinly veiled dark 70's sex-thriller. Fantastic, terrifying, hilarious, bloody and creepy as hell — SWAY is what theatre is all about.
